CURD CHEESE IS GOING ON VACATION

With the lambing season coming to an end, and as Vale da Estrela PDO Curd Cheese is made solely with the curd of Bordaleira Ewe milk, an exclusive ewe of Serra da Estrela, Vale da Estrela Dairy is suspending the production of this much-loved product, resuming it in October, as usual.

Vale da Estrela Curd Cheese, which received this year a gold medal in the National Contest of Portuguese Traditional Curd Cheese, is a unique product, with a creamy and smooth texture, gentle flavour, that melts gently in the mouth.

At the end of each season, it is always missed, but you will be eager to share it with friends and family when it returns!
