A little over a year after its opening, Vale da Estrela Dairy is a dynamic, solid organization, with more production and more PDO products and always with the quality of excellence that we want to preserve.

Today, Vale da Estrela has a diverse range of products: Serra da Estrela PDO cheese, Serra da Estrela PDO matured cheese, Serra da Estrela PDO sheep’s cheese and now Pumpkin, Blueberry and Honey jams.

This is the result of a wide range of collaborators starting with the 34 shepherds who supply the milk from the Bordaleira sheep to Vale da Estrela Dairy. A process that involves COAPE, Ancose, Estrelacoop and Beira Tradição with whom it has been possible to do serious and decisive work.

Vale da Estrela Dairy has also a team of professionals, with more experience, proud of their extraordinary work and to whom we owe much of our national and international success.

It was a difficult year exacerbated by fires and drought that ravaged the region. Despite everything, we can count on the resilience of people who are used to difficult lives and, once again, are demonstrating their tenacity and the will to move forward.

The Management of Vale da Estrela Dairy thanks everyone for the confidence shown this year, ensuring that together we will continue to do everything we can to bring this enormous challenge to fruition.
