THE PRESIDENT OF PRINCIPE REGIONAL GOVERNMENT VISITS VALE DA ESTRELA DAIRY

José Cardoso dos Ramos Cassandra, President of the Regional Government of Príncipe (S. Tomé and Príncipe) visited, this Wednesday, the premises of  Vale da Estrela Dairy in Mangualde.

During the visit he watched the making of Serra da Estrela PDO cheese.

The ruler of Príncipe also learned about the region’s handicrafts and some particularities of the typical pastoral activity of Serra da Estrela

osé Cardoso dos Ramos Cassandra, Presidente do Governo Regional do Príncipe (S. Tomé e Príncipe) esteve esta quarta-feira nas instalações da Queijaria Vale da Estrela em Mangualde. No decorrer da visita assistiu ao fabrico do queijo Serra da Estrela DOP. 
O governante do Príncipe tomou ainda conhecimento do artesanato da região e de algumas particularidades da atividade pastoril típica da Serra da Estrela. Esta deslocação à Queijaria vale da estrela teve lugar no âmbito de uma visita oficial do Presidente do Governo Regional do Príncipe a Mangualde.
