CODFISH GRATIN WITH SERRA DA ESTRELA CHEESE

Codfish gratin with Serra da Estrela Cheese

Recipe for Codfish gratin with Serra da Estrela Cheese from restaurant Bem-haja in Praça das Flores, Lisbon.

 

Ingredients:
1 codfish fillet
2 onions
1/2 green pepper
Olive oil
1 laurel leaf
1 slice Serra da Estrela cheese
2 potatoes
cabbage, eggplant, tomato

Execution:
Make a sauté with olive oil, onion and pepper.

On a tray, place this onion and the cod on top and put it in the oven until the cod is well roasted.

Cut the potatoes into slices and fry.

The cabbage, eggplant and tomato are roasted in the oven on a separate tray.

When the cod is almost roasted, place the slice of cheese on top and let it brown.

Serve with French fries and roasted vegetables.
