Vale da Estrela saw its Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) certificate renewed this year. 70 years later, we continue to promote cheese “from the best origins of Serra da Estrela”.

The drought is affecting milk production and Vale da Estrela is willing to create a network of producers to ensure the quality of the real Queijo da Serra da Estrela PDO.
